Many thanks to all who attended the 2nd BioDriveAFS Investigators Day on the 11th June! The investigators' day was led by the BioDriveAFS Co-Chief Investigators Professor Gavin Barlow (Senior Clinical Lecturer at Hull York Medical School and Honorary Consultant in Infection), Dr David Allsup (Senior Lecturer in Haematology and Honorary Consultant), and York Trials Unit, University of York. This event was hosted by the British Society for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (BSAC). The morning featured a range of engaging discussions including a facilitated chat about running the trial at sites, a talk surrounding new agents for treating acute leukaemia and the implication for drug-drug interactions, individualising fungal infection prevention in acute leukaemia and a presentation surrounding patient and public involvement in the trial.
